Why do you want to be an HONR100 Section Leader?
Please provide a brief statement explaining your interest.
Applicants are asked to put together a brief (10-15 minute) presentation on a topic relevant to first-year students. Please state your topic and provide a brief explanation about why you think it's important to share with your students.
You will have the opportunity to brainstorm the presentation with your interview committee. It's a chance to get feedback and advise about how to effectively engage your audience. Only applicants selected for the second round of interviews will be asked to present. There is no need to have the details of your presentaiton worked out in advance.
All Section Leaders are required to take HONR359X, a 1-credit training course. The course will be offered at the times listed below. Please select your preference.

Are you applying to team-teach HONR100?
HONR100 Section Leaders can apply to teach either individually or as a team. Both applicants must be in the Honors College (all programs are acceptable) and must have the 3.0 GPA requirement. Both applicants must complete this form so that records and contact information are readily available.
