Early Stage Dissertation Retreat
The Early Stage Dissertation Retreat, sponsored by The Graduate School Writing Center, will beheld May 30-June 2, 2017.

Students who are at the beginning stages of writing a dissertation are invited to register (for some departments, students writing a prospectus or proposal are also eligible for this retreat; the key distinction is that you must be ready to write).

The retreat will meet in McKeldin Library (room TBD) from 9:30am-4:30pm on Tuesday, May 30, Wednesday, May 31, and Thursday, June 1; on Friday, June 2, we will meet from 9:30am-2pm.

 Deadline for application:  May 15 OR when capacity is reached (whichever comes first)

This retreat is intended for those at the beginning stages of writing a dissertation.  In addition to the application (below), students will need to submit a $40 deposit to secure a seat once registration has ended.

The Early Stage Dissertation Retreat is scheduled for May 30-June 2 (Tuesday-Friday), from 9:30am-4:30pm each day except Friday, when we will meet from 9:30am-2pm. Can you commit to arriving on time each day and staying the entire time? *
Final Step:  payment
Once your registration has been accepted, you will need to submit a payment of $40 (to cover refreshments and lunch) to secure your  place in the Early Stage Dissertation Retreat.
