Student Chat with Ijeoma Oluo: Feb 4th, 2:30pm
New York Times bestselling author and cultural critic, Ijeoma Oluo, is coming to campus on February 4th! She will be joining her brother, Ahamefule Oluo, for an event entitled "On Being Mixed Race," hosted by The Clarice in partnership with Diversity Training & Education in ODI, The Graduate School, and Voices for Social Change.

Ijeoma has requested to meet with a small group of both undergraduate and graduate students in the afternoon for a chance to have a more closed setting for engagement. Students who have a particular interest in issues related to the event (mixed race identity, racial justice, for example) are especially encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity.

IMPORTANT!
Space is limited, so expressing interest via the form does not necessarily guarantee an RSVP. Participants will be selected based on the relevance of their interests and involvement with the event topic.

If you are interested in the student chat (Feb 4th at 2:30pm in Nyumburu) please fill out the form below.

"On Being Mixed Race" with both Ijeoma and Ahamefule Oluo will be at 5:30 pm in the Stamp Atrium and is a campus-wide event open to the public.  If you are also attending this event, see here: https://theclarice.umd.edu/events/2020/actnow-ahamefule-j-oluo
