Fall 2018 Lower Eastern Shore WIP Workshop (Dorchester, Somerset, Wicomico, Worcester counties)

Six regional workshops will be held in November and December 2018 throughout the State of Maryland. The meetings are part of Maryland's engagement strategy for Chesapeake Bay Watershed Implementation Plan (WIP) development. The meetings will update participants on the Phase Ill WIP process, provide opportunities for questions and feedback, and promote interaction between local partners and state agencies. Presentations will be provided by Departments of the Environment and Agriculture staff. In addition, there will be breakout discussions by county. Topics include local goals, opportunities for collaboration, and options for achieving and maintaining the state's 2025 target.

There is no cost to attend the workshops. They are sponsored by the Harry R. Hughes Center for Agro-Ecology of the University of Maryland and funded by the Town Creek Foundation. The doors will open at 9:30 am with the meeting beginning at 10:00 am and concluding by 2:00 pm. Lunch is included. A detailed agenda will be emailed to participants closer to the event dates.
