The Clarice's Artist Partner Programs and the University of Maryland School of Music present a one-of-a-kind aural experience in collaboration with visiting artist Living Earth Show, composer Danny Clay and the UMD Wind Orchestra! Music for Hard Times is an "open sourced" composition resulting in a piece that can never be replicated. Throughout the semester, Danny has guided members of the UMD Wind Orchestra in creating various unique recordings that Danny and Living Earth Show have woven into UMD's own version of Music for Hard Times. In this virtual event, you will enjoy the world premiere of UMD's take on Music for Hard Times and hear from the composer and musicians about their artistic process in creating the piece.
