Each major/program option listed below leads to teacher certification eligibility in Social Studies 7th - 12th grade classrooms. Additional information regarding each program will be discussed during the workshop.  
  • Double Major in Secondary Education & either History, Geography, or Government & Politics
  • Integrated Maryland Masters with Certification Program (IMCP): Undergraduate 5-Year Masters track that supports students in earning teaching certification eligibility at the Master's level. 
  • Master of Education with Certification (MCERT) Program: One-Year Masters Program
