KEHOE-KESLER AWARD NOMINATION

University Recreation & Wellness exists to enrich the educational experience and encourage personal growth by inspiring the university community to be active and live well.
The James H. Kehoe (Men’s Intramural Sports Director, 1947-69) and Ethel Kesler (Women’s Intramural Sports Director, 1956-81) Leadership & Service Award is presented to the University of Maryland undergraduate or graduate student who has best demonstrated leadership and a commitment to bettering the health and wellness of those around them.
Nominees should immediately come to mind as individuals who make a conscious choice to incorporate physical activity into their daily lives and inspire others to be active and live well.
Criteria:
• Demonstration of encouraging and inspiring the university community to be active and live well
• Respected by peers for leadership qualities
• Serves as a role model for healthy living
• Minimum Cumulative GPA of 2.75
Nomination Submission Instructions:
• Complete and sign the nomination; incomplete nominations will not be considered
• Answer the question on this online application
• Deadline: Friday, March 1, 2019, at 11:59pm
Once you nominate a student, they will receive an email with your name stating that they have been nominated for the award. The nominee will need to complete the full application by March 8th to be considered.
