Iribe Initiative for Inclusion and Diversity in Computing Fall 2021 Mentoring Interest Form- Alumni and Corporate
Please use this form to express interest in the I4C Peer & Alumni Mentoring Program and Additional Fall Programs.

What To Expect:
-1 on 1 mentor/mentee relationships
-Commitment of a minimum of three hours with their mentee each month for the duration of one semester (3 months).
-Mentors are asked to attend the Kick-Off Meeting and the end of semester Wrap Up Celebration. Meetings will be held in the evening.
-Mentors can select their matching preferences
-Option to mentor up to 3 mentees per semester
-Opportunity to engage 1:1 with UMD undergraduate students on Terrapins Connect

If you would like to participate in the 2021 Fall Peer & Alumni Mentoring Program, here are the next steps to begin that process:
-Sign the Peer & Alumni Mentoring Agreement (Submitting the agreement confirms your participation in the program.)
-You will receive an invitation to join the I4C Peer & Alumni program on the UMD Terrapins Connect platform.
-Create your profile! Make sure to add a picture of yourself.
-Join the Fall 2021-Peer & Alumni Mentoring Program by clicking on the green join button on the top right of the screen.
-Complete the mentoring matching questionnaire.
 
Application Window Closes:
Mentors: September 15, 2021- extended to Sept 23rd
Mentees: September 17, 2021
Mentee Favoriting Period: September 17th-24th
Match Day: September 22nd-24th
Notification of Matches: September 24th or 27th
Kick-Off Meeting: September 24th (In Person) 4pm-5:30pm ET
