Application for the Feb 25-27 UMD SKY Happiness Retreat  for BIPOC students
UMD RECWELL and COUNSELING CENTER, in collaboration with SKY Campus Happiness, are delighted to announce the hybrid (in-person and online) SKY Happiness Retreat for UMD students.




The SKY Happiness Retreat is a powerful weekend resilience program. You will learn and practice SKY Breath Meditation, an evidence-based breath work and meditation practice that can significantly reduce anxiety and stress markers, while increasing overall well-being and calmness.

The Retreat features

-mindful leadership.

The SKY Happiness Retreat is designed to empower you with evidence-based practices to relax, de-stress, and recharge the body and mind deeply. The weekend retreat is fun and rejuvenating, and totally focused on your current and future well-being.

COST: Complimentary for the UMD students if attended fully.


SCHEDULE:
The retreat timings are as follows:
  --  Feb 25, Fri | 5 pm - 8:30 pm ET (in-person)
  --  Feb 26, Sat  | 9 am - 1 pm ET (in-person)
  --  Feb 27, Sun  | 9 am - 1 pm ET (in-person)

Two online 1-hour follow-up sessions in the weeks following the retreat, date/time to be decided during the retreat taking into account students' schedules.

VENUE:
Feb 25-27: In-person at the UMD University Recreation Center (more details after registration).

***In order to attend this Retreat, you must be able to participate all sessions.

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Please complete this form by Feb 23. This form will determine acceptance into the Retreat, and seats are limited. Registrations will be on a first-come, first-served basis and will be accepted until we reach capacity.
