After School Outreach and 2021 Summer Camps Interest Form
Please use this form to express your interest in any of our summer camps that we offer.
Applications for residential camps open January 15th, and day camps February 1st.
Summer 2020 Camps:
Elementary Camp:
Jumpstart Computing Elementary Camp: This one-week camp seeks to introduce rising 4th-5th graders to the field of computer science and STEM, and to increase their interest early on.
Middle School Camp:
CompSciConnect: This is a two-week long computing camp for rising 6th-8th graders. Campers normally make a three-year commitment which involves different levels of computing knowledge, and monthly meetings during the academic calendar.
High School Camps:
> AI4ALL: This is a three-week long computer programming and artificial intelligence (AI) residential camp. The camp will be offered to rising 10th and 11th graders in the area with a specific focus on Washington, DC and Prince George’s County (MD) Residents.
> Cyber Defense: During this one-week residential camp, rising 11th and 12th grade students learn and apply their skills in intermediate networking, programming, hacking, and more while learning about the careers in cybersecurity and cybersecurity options.
> Intro to Computing: This is a two-week residential camp for rising 9th-12th graders who may not have had access to computing topics yet. This camp will run through the basics of Java as well as some other beginning fields. Campers with computing knowledge are encouraged to apply for one of our other high school camps.
> Make Your Own Wearables: This is a one-week camp looking at wearable technology and its implications in our day-to-day life. This camp is available for rising 8th-12th graders and involves a lot of hands-on activities. Basic computing knowledge is highly encouraged.
