The annual Agricultural and Environmental Law Conference is a unique gathering of agricultural professionals, attorneys, educators, environmentalists, farmers, policymakers, and students to discuss the complex intersection of environmental regulation and agriculture in Maryland. ALEI prides itself on hosting an event that brings farming and conservation experts together in a forum that allows for an exchange of ideas and education for conference attendees on current legal topics of interest. Nutrient Management Education Credits will be available.

The 2023 Agricultural and Environmental Law Conference took place at the Crowne Plaza Annapolis on Thursday, November 16, 2023.
Payment is requested immediately upon completion of the online registration process. We will only accept credit card payment onsite.

Cancellation/Change Policy
All cancellations and requests for changes must be submitted in writing via email to aleiconfreg@umd.edu.
Requests to change your registration from virtual to in-person participation will result in an outstanding balance. Payment for the balance due must be provided no later than November 10.
Requests to change your registration from in-person to virtual will receive a refund in the amount of the difference between the registration fees. Refunds for these requests will only be honored through November 10. Any requests to change from in-person to virtual after November 10 will not receive a refund.
Cancellation requests received on or before Friday, November 3 are refundable, less a processing fee of $10.00.
No refunds will be administered for requests received after Friday, November 3.
Substitutions may be requested as long as the new registrant details, (e.g. name, email, phone number, etc.), are provided via email to aleiconfreg@umd.edu before the event start date.
