At this time, your application has been referred to the Office of Student Conduct (OSC) because you indicated a positive response to the question regarding past behavioral misconduct on your application to the University of Maryland or on your housing application. Please complete this form and submit the required documents in order for a recommendation to be sent to the Office of Admissions (for undergraduate and transfer applicants), the Student Success Office (for re-enrollment applicants), Office of Extended Studies, the Graduate School, or the Department of Residence Life. Please be advised that this is an independent review process and we do not have access to documents submitted through the admissions or housing application(s).
Once OSC receives all necessary information, the application is reviewed and a recommendation made. On average, clearances take two to three weeks to review. Please be aware that the Office of Admissions or Department of Residence Life has placed a “judicial hold” on your application that will remain until a recommendation is received from OSC. If you have questions, please visit our website at www.studentconduct.umd.edu or you can call our office at 301-314-8204.
