Come join us this summer for one of our three summer programs for high school students.

I4C Summer Academy - High School Program Application closes: March 24th

Each programs' students will attend class during the day, and social activities at night spanning one to three weeks, depending on the program. All Summer 2022 programs will be offered as an in-person experience and will take place at the Brendan Iribe Computer Science & Engineering Building on the University of Maryland-College Park campus. Our high school programs are listed below:

Create Tech (previously know as Introduction to Computing 101 + Wearables)
 https://inclusion.cs.umd.edu/outreach/intro
          - 2-week non-residential program
          - No experience required
          - Target group: Rising 8th-12th Graders (*parents of 8th grade students should use this form to apply)
          - Session: July 24 - August 5
          - Cost to attend: $400
**Best Consideration Deadline: March 11th**

AI4ALL
https://inclusion.cs.umd.edu/outreach/ai4all
           - 3-week residential program
           - Basic experience needed
           - Target group: Rising 10th, 11th, and 12th Graders
           - Session: July 5 - July 22
           - Cost to attend: $600
NOTE: You can only attend one AI4ALL national summer program.

Cyber Defense

           - 1-week residential program
           - Intermediate experience needed
           - Target group: Rising 11th and 12th Graders
           - Session: June 26 - July 2
           - Cost to attend: $1000
**Best Consideration Deadline: February 28th**



The complete application form must include:

• Part A-E of this application
• 2 Names of References of teachers, supervisors, and/or guidance counselor
• Upload a copy of the most recent report card or progress report (student name, grade, and school must be legible) to https://go.umd.edu/i4c_Sum22ReportCard


Please complete this application as soon as possible, but no later than March 24th. Applications will not be reviewed before the best consideration dates. Any applications received after the best consideration dates will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Applications received after March 24th will only be considered as space is available.

Decisions will be communicated to all applicants between March 18th-March 30th.

An I4C Staff member will send recommendation forms through email to your listed references bi-weekly beginning Feb 28th.
