Greetings!  Thank you for your interest in our virtual 4-H Life Skills Boot Camp.  This club will be run in a virtual environment by certified 4-H volunteers.

Although virtual activity clubs are new to Maryland 4-H, they will still contain all of the elements that have given Maryland 4-H its rich 100+ year history: hands-on learning,  connections with peers and caring adults, and an inclusive, safe environment.  

Maryland 4-H Virtual Activity Clubs are free for all current Maryland 4-H members.  

Not a 4-H member?  Not a problem!  One of our Virtual Activity Club Leaders will contact you to enroll.  The one time annual $10.00 enrollment fee gives you access to a full year of fun and enriching activities and events!  

Please complete this interest form, and a 4-H Life Skills Boot Camp club leader will connect with you to register your child (more than one child is welcome to join per family; please complete a separate form for each).  

Club Age Range: Youth entering grades 7-9 in the fall

Club Description:
The 4-H Life Skills Boot Camp is based on Botvin LifeSkills Training Middle School program, which is a groundbreaking substance abuse and violence prevention program based on more than 35 years of rigorous scientific research. Proven to be the most effective evidence-based program used in schools today, it is comprehensive, dynamic, and developmentally designed to promote mental health and positive youth development. In addition to helping kids resist drug, alcohol, and tobacco use, 4-H life Skills Boot Camp also effectively supports the reduction of violence and other high-risk behaviors.

We will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from July 14- August 20 from 11:00 a.m- 12:00 p.m

Registrations due by July 7.
