Endangered Data Week
Developed by the Digital Library Federation (https://www.diglib.org/) Endangered Data Week “is a new, collaborative effort, coordinated across campuses, nonprofits, libraries, citizen science initiatives, and cultural heritage institutions, to shed light on public datasets that are in danger of being deleted, repressed, mishandled, or lost” (http://endangereddataweek.org/). The University of Maryland Libraries and the Maryland Institute for Technology in the Humanities are proudly participating in the inaugural Endangered Data Week by presenting a series of events focused on fostering a deeper appreciation and engagement with issues related to data archiving and preservation, as a set of personal practices and as a larger regulatory issue for institutions, governments, and nations.

The events described below are open to anyone willing to come. Please note that you must complete this registration form so that we can appropriately account for seating and refreshments.
