Hazing is prohibited at the University of Maryland, and reporting incidents of hazing is everyone's responsibility. Reporting hazing helps protect your peers and upholds our collective values. By reporting, you contribute to a culture of respect and integrity, helping us ensure a safe academic environment for all. Whether you're directly involved or a concerned observer, your report can initiate positive change. Your voice matters in maintaining a safe and respectful university community.

If there's an immediate threat to health or safety, call 9-1-1 right away. Reports sent through this form are processed during regular business hours.

Hazing Definition: The University of Maryland defines hazing as intentionally or recklessly subjecting any person to the risk of bodily harm, or severe emotional distress, or causing or encouraging any person to commit an act that would be a violation of law or university regulations, for the purposes of initiating, promoting, fostering, or confirming any form of affiliation with a student group or organization.
